As owner/manager of MakOne Productions, I have had the opportunity to team up with the amazing people at Joetoys to design and build high-end, custom-made costumes and props. We have been fortunate to have clients from all over the world. I've even been lucky enough to work with notable clients such as Adam Savage from "Mythbutsters", and Conan O'Brien from "Late Night."
All of the costumes and props my team and I make are hand crafted out of various materials. The most commonly used material for full-body costumes is EVA foam because it is lightweight, easy to take care of, and cost effective for both us and our customers. We do, however, also employ the use of fiberglass, vacuforming technology, 3D printers, PLA and ABS plastic, wood, aluminum, and various fabrics and paints.
